The Allen-Bradley 2711-K6C5 PanelView 600 HMI Interface is a compact color operator terminal with a keypad, designed to provide an on-site human-machine interface to Rockwell Automation PLCs via RS-232 DH-485. The 5.7-inch color display delivers a 320 x 234-pixel view, and the keypad includes 10 function keys (F1–F10) for direct control, complemented by a battery-backed real-time clock to timestamp critical data. It uses 18–32 V DC input (24 V nominal) with a maximum DC power draw of 34 W; the PanelView 600 family also includes AC-powered configurations, depending on the model. Application data resides in 190 KB runtime memory plus 240 KB nonvolatile memory for objects, text, and bitmaps, with PanelBuilder32 running on a PC to design and download screens for monitoring, alarms, and control.
