Allen-Bradley 800H-HP31KB6AAXX Type 7&9 selector switch is a rugged, two-position, non-illuminated control designed for hazardous-location environments. It mounts in a 30.5 mm opening and includes a plastic front ring, with screw-terminal wiring for 18–14 AWG conductors. This maintained-position switch uses a left-position lock via a standard D018 key and accepts KB6 cam for two-position operation. In Position 1, the contact block provides 1 normally open and 1 normally closed contact; Position 2 has no contact block. Electrical ratings include up to 600 V AC/DC, a thermal current of 10 A, and rated currents of 69 VA DC (28–600 V), 720 VA AC (72–120 V), and 7200 VA AC (120–600 V). Dielectric strength is 2200 V for 1 minute; electrical life up to 1,000,000 cycles at max load; mechanical life up to 200,000 cycles. Terminal screws deliver 6 in-lb torque; typical operating force without contact blocks is 4 in-lb for maintained operation. The device carries Type 7 & 9 hazardous-location ratings and is designed for environments requiring robust, lockable control, with operating temperature at −20 °C and storage at −40 °C, and 50% humidity at 40 °C.
