Description:

The Allen-Bradley 802B-A is a compact limit switch in the 802B family, designed to fit tight spaces while delivering precise limit sensing with a rugged metal housing. It supports a broad head-and-actuator ecosystem—13 head configurations and actuators such as rotary arm, top push (with or without rollers), and wobble stick—available with either a 3 m pre-wired cable or a 4-pin AC micro QD on a 152 mm (6 in) pigtail, with LED-indicator variants for status at a glance. Enclosures and protection vary by model, with options including NEMA 1, 3, 4, 6, 12, 13 and IP67 for some configurations. Documented performance points for select 802B configurations include a torque to operate of about 0.216 N·m, travel to operate of 25°, maximum travel of 70°, and 3° travel to reset, all of which help tailor sensing accuracy to conveyors, machine tools, or packaging lines. Operating temperature ranges differ by variant; small-precision versions list a range from -10°C to 70°C, while other configurations may have different specs, allowing you to choose the right balance of space, visibility, and durability for your control panel.
