Allen-Bradley 802PR-LBAB1 Inductive Proximity Sensor
Allen-Bradley 802PR-LBAB1 Inductive Proximity Sensor
Description:
The Allen-Bradley 802PR-LBAB1 is a compact, limit-switch style inductive proximity sensor with shielded construction designed for side sensing in tight spaces. It uses a 15 mm nominal sensing distance and has a normally open output, enabling straightforward interfacing to standard PLC inputs. The two-wire AC/DC device is housed in polyester and features a 1/2 in.-14 NPT conduit connection for easy mounting in panel or machine enclosures. It operates on a 20–25 VAC/DC supply range, making it compatible with mixed-voltage control systems commonly found in industrial environments. The 802PR family provides non-contact detection of metal targets, suitable for presence or position sensing in automated equipment and other industrial sensing tasks where a compact, reliable sensor is required. The 802PR-LBAB1 is designed to be mounted with its sensing face oriented to the side, and its shielded design helps minimize interference from the surrounding metalwork during operation.
