Allen-Bradley 836-A2J Pressure Control Switch
Allen-Bradley 836-A2J Pressure Control Switch
Description:
Allen-Bradley 836-A2J is an electro-mechanical pressure control switch from Rockwell Automation’s Bulletin 836 family, built around an internal copper-alloy bellows actuator in Style A construction to sense pressure and actuate electrical contacts. It is used to regulate hydraulic or pneumatic equipment—such as compressors, pumps, and other industrial machinery—by maintaining a target pressure through adjustable trip and reset points. The 836 family supports configurable ranges, with Style A devices typically offering a sensing span from 30 inHg vacuum up to 375 psi, a differential range of about 2 to 95 psi, and maximum line pressures up to 750 psi; some models allow occasional surges up to 850 psi depending on configuration. Certain models in this family can be ordered with customer-specified trip and reset settings, which are factory-set for the pressure control switch.
