Allen-Bradley 844D-B8CC5FW Incremental Encoder
Allen-Bradley 844D-B8CC5FW Incremental Encoder
Description:
Allen-Bradley 844D-B8CC5FW Incremental Encoder is a hollow-shaft optical encoder from the 844D family, designed for rear (through-shaft) mounting on a 1 inch bore. It uses through-bolt mounting on a 2.5–4.0 inch diameter surface with a 3/8 inch bolt and includes a tether for cable management. The unit features a 10-pin connector and operates from 8–24 V DC, with a 5 V DC differential line-driver (DLD) output (3487) for robust noise immunity in industrial environments. As part of the 844D line, it provides 1024 pulses per revolution, delivering precise position and speed information for motion control and servo systems. This encoder’s hollow-shaft design enables through-shaft coupling without obstructing the drive shaft, making it suitable for through-shaft installations in automated systems that rely on Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation hardware.
