Allen-Bradley 852S-NSA Solid State Timing Module
Allen-Bradley 852S-NSA Solid State Timing Module
Description:
Allen-Bradley 852S-NSA Solid State Timing Module is a solid-state timing unit that mounts on Bulletin 700-N relays to provide an on-delay timing function. As part of the 852S solid-state timer family, the NSA variant offers ON-Delay timing with a range from 0.5 seconds up to 30 seconds and a maximum setting of 30 seconds; it can be configured for off-delay operation in certain installations. Supplied as an on-delay module, it can be easily converted to an off-delay configuration if needed. The module is used to generate timed outputs in control circuits—supporting sequencing, interlocks, and timed start/stop operations when paired with standard 700-N relays. This legacy device represents Allen-Bradley’s approach to retrofitting timing functionality into existing relay racks with a solid-state alternative to mechanical timers, providing repeatable timing behavior in aging automation assets.
