Allen-Bradley 871TM-B15N30-A2 Inductive Proximity Sensor
Allen-Bradley 871TM-B15N30-A2 Inductive Proximity Sensor
Description:
The Allen-Bradley 871TM-B15N30-A2 Inductive Proximity Sensor is a non-contact detector for metallic targets in industrial automation, with a nominal sensing distance of 15 mm and the ability to sense metal objects without physical contact to support reliable control of automated processes. The cylindrical threaded-barrel housing supports through-hole or bracket mounting and provides a DC switching output (model dependent) with a DC control supply and a cable- or connector-based connection (model dependent). Designed for rugged factory environments, it features industrial-grade dust and water resistance and an industrial-rated operating range, while delivering high-speed switching suitable for fast PLC and control-loop applications with metallic-sensing targets. Common applications include conveyor systems, robotic cells, machine guarding, and material handling equipment, as well as packaging machinery, conveyor detection points, automated assembly lines, pick-and-place systems, and machine safety interlocks. Common replacements include Allen-Bradley 871TM-B18N30-A2, Allen-Bradley 871TM-B15N30-A1 inductive sensors, and Turck BI15-U1-A2X, depending on model configuration.
