Allen-Bradley 1746-P2 SLC 500 Power Supply Module

The Allen-Bradley 1746-P2 SLC 500 Power Supply Module is a rack-mount AC power supply for the SLC 500 system that converts line voltage into dual DC rails to feed the backplane and I/O logic. It accepts 85–132/170–265 VAC, 47–63 Hz input (nominally 120/240 V) and has a typical line power requirement of about 180 VA with an inrush current up to 20 A. The unit provides 18–30 V DC output to the SLC 500 backplane, with an internal 5 V DC rail capable of up to 5 A and a 24 V DC rail capable of up to 0.96 A. Its enclosure is designed for use inside an SLC 500 1746 chassis, and its footprint measures about 5.5 in x 2.9 in x 5.7 in. It operates from 0 to 60 °C and offers 1800 V AC RMS isolation for 1 s. A 1746-F2 or equivalent fuse protects the module. The 1746-P2 is part of the SLC 500 modular family and is suitable for industrial automation installations requiring a stable, isolated power source for the rack and I/O.
