Allied Moulded FB-2DB Floor Box Assembly Duplex Receptacle

The Allied Moulded FB-2DB rectangular floor box assembly is a single-gang in-floor receptacle housing with a dark bronze plated brass duplex device cover, designed for residential wood-floor installations. It uses a polycarbonate box with a brass cover and measures 4.31 in high by 2.5 in wide by 3.5 in deep, delivering about 24.5 cu in of wiring space with four knockouts for cable entry. This unit supports both new-work and old-work installations and can be mounted with metal wing brackets or nonmetal flange floor/ceiling compression. The included duplex receptacle is tamper-resistant and rated 15 A, 125 V with grounding; the assembly is UL-listed for floor boxes and meets scrub-water exclusion tests. For wiring and cut-in ease, the FB-2DB ships with a closed-cell rubber gasket, galvanized steel dust plate with plated carbon steel fasteners, nitrile O-ring, nonmetallic pop-in cable clamp, and screw-plug device covers.
