Allied Vision Technologies GC1020C Industrial Camera
Description:
The Allied Vision GC1020C Prosilica GigE Vision camera combines a compact 1/3‑inch Sony ICX204 CCD sensor with a global shutter to deliver color 1024×768 imagery at up to 33 frames per second. The sensor is a 1/3‑inch interline CCD with 4.65 μm pixels on a 6.0 mm diagonal, providing a 0.8 MP image at full resolution. It supports multiple pixel formats, including RGB8Packed and BGR8Packed for color, as well as BayerRG8/12Packed and Mono8/Mono12Packed, with additional YUV options (YUV411Packed, YUV422Packed, YUV444Packed) to suit different workflows. The GC1020C uses a GigE Vision interface for standard networked machine‑vision setups and draws about 2.9 W from a 12 V supply. It includes a 16 MB image buffer, exposure control from 8 μs to 116.8 s, and a gain range of 0–22 dB to adapt to varying lighting. An I/O pair is provided (1 input, 1 opto‑coupled output) for synchronization, and horizontal binning ranges from 1 to 8 with vertical binning from 1 to full resolution to adjust sensitivity and throughput. The camera weighs roughly 99 g and is specified for operation from 0 °C to +50 °C ambient (without condensation). Its C‑mount lens interface accommodates a wide range of optics, making the GC1020C well suited for factory automation, inspection, robotics, and other machine‑vision tasks that require compact, reliable color imaging at standard Ethernet speeds.
