Allied Vision Technologies GT5120 GigE Camera
Allied Vision Technologies GT5120 GigE Camera
Description:
The Allied Vision Prosilica GT5120 is a monochrome GigE Vision camera built around the ON Semiconductor PYTHON 25K APS-H CMOS sensor, delivering 5,120 × 5,120-pixel images at up to 4.59 fps. It uses a global shutter and 10-bit image depth, with 4.50 µm × 4.50 µm pixels and a 32.36 mm diameter APS-H sensor for high-resolution imaging. The camera supports IEEE 802.3 1000BASE-T with Power over Ethernet, plus a 7–25 VDC auxiliary supply, and typical power consumption around 5.02 W at 12 V (6.3 W with PoE). It includes a 128 MB RAM image buffer and 1 RS232 port, along with TTL I/O (1 input, 2 outputs) and opto-isolated I/O (1 input, 2 outputs). Lens mounting options include F-Mount, enabling use with a wide range of optics. Its compact 96 × 66 × 53 mm body weighs about 372 g and is designed for rugged, passively cooled operation in temperatures from -20 °C to 50 °C. With 53% quantum efficiency at 529 nm, the GT5120 delivers strong sensitivity in the visible range, making it suitable for precision machine vision, inspection, and archival imaging where a high-resolution monochrome sensor and reliable GigE connectivity are required.
