Alnor AirGard Lab Hood Monitor 200AG is a flush-mount fume hood monitor that provides go/no-go protection by continuously sensing hood face velocity and sounding alarms if airflow drops below a user-set threshold. It covers a face-velocity range of 70 to 250 feet per minute (0.35–1.27 m/s) and delivers a visual alert—red LED—and an audible alarm when low flow is detected, while a green LED confirms normal operation; a relay output offers integration with building controls or interlocks. Designed for retrofits or new installations, the 200AG mounts flush to the fume hood face and routes its outlet to the hood interior, typically via a sidewall adapter and back plate, with installation requiring a cut-out in the hood. The device is discontinued as of September 1, 2023, though it remains part of historical laboratory airflow monitoring options and has replacement AirGard models in the product family; it ships with a US power plug.
