Alpes Technologies ALPTEC7-240 Power Factor Controller

ALPTEC7-240 is a digital microprocessor power factor controller from Alpes Technologies that automatically switches capacitor steps to reach and maintain a target power factor in industrial electrical systems. It features a 3-digit 7-segment display, a 4-key membrane keypad, and a TTL-RS232 interface for PC-based setup and automated testing, plus an internal temperature sensor and advanced functions such as capacitor current overload measurement, weekly average power factor, and maximum value logging. The controller provides two relays that can be programmed as alarm and/or fan control, and is available in multiple step configurations (ALPTEC3, ALPTEC5, ALPTEC7, ALPTEC12) with 96x96 mm housing for the 3-, 5-, and 7-step models (ALPTEC12 uses a 144x144 mm housing). For installation, connect the current transformer to the free phase and earth the CT secondary; installation should be performed by trained personnel in accordance with the wiring diagrams.
