Alpha Wire 1179C Communication Cable

Alpha Wire 1179C is a nine-conductor, unshielded communication and control cable designed for low-voltage signaling and control tasks in industrial environments. It uses tin-plated copper conductors sized 22 AWG, with PVC insulation and a slate-colored PVC outer jacket, delivering a compact 0.246 inch jacket diameter. The cable is rated for 300 V RMS and operates from -20°C to 80°C, suitable for indoor dry and damp locations; it meets UL CMG FT4 and CSA FT4 flame classifications, with AWM 2576 or C(UL) 75°C Type CMG FT4 approvals and VW-1 certification. Typical applications include instrumentation and control circuits, PLC I/O, sensors, encoders, solenoids, valves, actuators, and other industrial control signals in raceways, cable trays, and control panels.
