Alpha Wire 1898C Communication Computer Control Cable

Alpha Wire 1898C is a 3-conductor, 18 AWG communication and control cable designed for low-voltage data and control wiring inside equipment and control panels. It uses tinned copper conductors with PVC insulation and a slate PVC outer jacket, and is offered in 1000 ft spools (SL001) as well as shorter runs (e.g., 100 ft SL005) through major distributors. The conductors are copper, 18 AWG (16/30) with a 0.047 in diameter each, insulated with 0.016 in PVC, and the jacket is slate. The cable is unshielded and rated for 300 V, with CM and AWM 2509 classifications and FT4 approval; jacket/print marks include ALPHA WIRE- 1898C 3C 18 AWG. It is suitable for internal wiring of control circuits and data connections where a compact, flexible 18 AWG lead is needed.
