The MA32UM is a three-phase manual motor controller in Altech’s MA-Series, UL 489-listed for DIN-rail mounting and motor protection, rated for 32 A. It features an adjustable thermal trip with a dial offering four settings: 25, 27, 30, or 32 A. The unit uses large cage-clamp terminals for straightforward wiring and is designed to handle high inrush loads typical of motors; it mounts quickly to standard DIN rails. For nominal line voltages, the datasheet lists 3Ø horsepower ratings of 5 HP at 30.4 A, 7.5 HP at 25.0 A, 7.5 HP at 24.2 A, 10 HP at 28.0 A, and 20 HP at 27.0 A, and it supports up to 480Y/277 VAC (with a 500 V rating in international standards).
