Altech Corporation PSA-18024 Power Supply Module

The Altech PSA-18024 is a DIN-rail mounted, single‑phase AC/DC power supply that delivers 24 V DC up to 7.5 A (180 W) for industrial control and ITE applications. It accepts a wide input range of 90–135 VAC or 180–264 VAC and operates from −25°C to 70°C with derating, offering efficiency above 91% and ripple/noise up to 100 mV peak‑to‑peak (measured at 20 MHz with a 0.1 µF/47 µF output network). The module provides an adjustable DC output range of 10–14 V with a 24 V nominal output, and isolation of 3 kV, along with a built‑in DC OK relay contact. Protective features include multiple overload/short‑circuit modes, with startup behavior capable of handling large input capacitance (up to ~50,000 µF) and a short‑circuit current rating around 16 A. Regulation is tight, with line tolerance, line regulation, and load regulation specified (±0.5% and ±1% respectively), and a compact enclosure measuring 4.06" L × 2.17" W × 4.57" H (103 mm × 55 mm × 116 mm) for space‑conscious DIN rail installations; cooling is by free air convection. Approved for UL508 and EN60950‑1, the PSA‑18024 also carries CE and cULus markings and is backed by a 3‑year warranty. No minimum load is required for operation.
