The Altronix SMP7PM is a supervised power supply/charger that converts a low-voltage AC input into a regulated 12 VDC or 24 VDC output, delivering up to 6 A of continuous load current. A 24 VAC or 28 VAC transformer, around 175 VA, is recommended to support typical alarm-panel and access-control deployments. The SMP7PM includes supervisory contacts (NC, C, NO) to signal loss of AC power to an alarm panel or audible device, enabling reliable fault indication in security installations. As a single-output module, it is designed to power 12/24 V systems with up to 6 A, making it suitable for security and access-control applications requiring a stable, regulated supply.
