Description:

The Amelec ADP451EP is a DIN‑rail mounted AC current input transducer that converts a monitored AC current into a DC process signal for control systems. Typical input ranges are 0–1 A or 0–5 A, with intermediate ranges available at no extra cost, and the device can output either a DC current signal (up to 20 mA) or a DC voltage signal (up to 10 V) depending on configuration; common implementations are 4–20 mA into loads up to about 1.2 kΩ or 0–10 Vdc into loads as low as 500 Ω. It provides isolation of up to 1000 V RMS between input, output, supply, and earth (500 Vdc with the K option) and is a non‑smart, non‑uProcessor based Type A instrument suitable for SIL1/ SIL2 rated SIS loop applications in 1oo1 architecture. The supply can be 115 Vac ±20%, 240 Vac ±20%, 24 Vdc ±10%, 48 Vdc ±10%, with an optional 110 Vdc ‘X’ variant, and an optional K‑rated enclosure augments EMC/RFI protection to high industrial levels. Standard enclosure dimensions are 50 W × 75 H × 110 D mm for TS35 DIN rail or surface mounting (a larger 50 × 75 × 182 mm K option is available, with optional rear keyhole plate). Operating temperature ranges from −15 to +55 °C (storage −40 to +70 °C) with 5–95% RH non‑condensing, and the unit delivers typical accuracy better than 0.2% with linearity under ±0.1% and a supply consumption under 3 VA. A second isolated output is available on the ADP453EP variant if a dual‑output configuration is required.
