AMETEK Gemco 2000-4B Geared Rotary Limit Switch is a rugged, two-circuit rotary limit switch that provides end-stop signaling from a single package. The 2000-series device is driven by a 1/2-inch input shaft that engages a bronze gear; a cam block houses independently adjustable cams that actuate the two SPDT switches, delivering two independent limit signals. With a 40:1 gear ratio, shaft rotation is translated into precise cam movement, enabling accurate switch actuation at defined positions. The unit is offered in a NEMA 12 enclosure for general industrial environments. Maximum shaft speed is 1000 RPM, and rotation can be in either direction (CW or CCW). The combination of two SPDT circuits and the robust gearing makes this model suitable for applications such as material handling, conveyors, rotary indexing, and packaging lines where multiple limit points are required from a compact package.
