Timing is initiated by the closure of an isolated start switch, with timing accuracy typically within 5% of the set value. The unit is housed in a flame-retardant, solvent-resistant polyester thermoplastic enclosure and provides transient protection via a metal oxide varistor, with dielectric withstand of 3000 VAC RMS between terminals and mounting.
