AMK AZ-EA24 Input Module

AMK AZ-EA24 is an option card for the AMK AZ module family that plugs into a free AZ module slot to provide digital input/output expansion. It comprises 24 binary inputs (nominal +24 V) and 16 binary outputs (+24 V, 100 mA per channel) with optical isolation on the output side. The inputs require an external +24 V supply provided by the user; outputs are open-emitter and rated for 100 mA per channel with short-circuit protection. Signal levels comply with VDI 2880, and in basic operation the I/O are sampled every 10 ms, while in drive configurations using the Programmable Controller PS option the process image is scanned about 1 ms. The AZ-EA24 connects to the AZ module via two shielded 25-core connectors (X81 and X82). The revision is listed as Rev 2.00.
