AMPRO CM2-4DE-Q-74 is a PC/104-compatible high-performance industrial CPU module built around an AMD “5x86” (486DX5) core running at 133 MHz, with a jumper-selectable 100 MHz option. In its compact 3.6 x 3.8 x 0.9 in. (90 x 96 x 23 mm) form factor, it ships with 4 or 16 MB of on-board RAM, expandable to 64 MB via a socketed DRAM module. The board provides two RS-232 serial ports (one configurable for RS-232 or RS-485), a parallel port, and IDE support for one or two hard drives, plus an Award ROM-BIOS, a real-time clock (MC146818) with battery-free operation option, and onboard 1 MB OEM Flash memory; additional features include a Bytewide socket for up to 1 MB of ROM/Flash, DiskOnChip2000 compatibility, and optional SSD software. This CM2-4DE-Q-74 is designed for PC/AT-compatible embedded applications and can be stacked with PC/104 expansion products to form compact, robust industrial control subsystems.
