Description:
ADuM7640CRQZ is a six-channel, galvanically isolated digital isolator from Analog Devices, built on iCoupler technology to transfer digital signals across an isolation barrier with no direct DC connection. It provides 1 kV RMS isolation between the input and output sides, enabling safety and noise immunity in mixed-signal systems. Each of its six channels supports up to 25 Mbps data transfer, with a channel-by-channel glitch filter and a pulse-width distortion (PWD) of less than 6 ns (C grade), delivering clean logic transitions in noisy environments. The device is offered in the CRQZ variant in a 20-lead package, typically 20-SSOP with a 0.154" width, making it suitable for compact embedded designs. It also features a common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) of 15 kV/µs, helping it tolerate fast transient disturbances on the barrier.
