Description:

Analog Devices AD532KH is a pretrimmed, single-chip multiplier/divider that guarantees ±1.0% maximum multiplying error in four-quadrant operation. It accepts differential inputs on X1–X2 and Y1–Y2 with the transfer function Vout = (X1 − X2)(Y1 − Y2) / 10 V, enabling precise analog multiplication, division, squaring, or square-root calculations without external trimming components. Built on a monolithic IC architecture, the AD532KH is designed for low-cost, compact integration with no external resistors or trimming networks required. The device is available in hermetically sealed TO-100 metal can or 14-lead D-14 packaging and is specified to operate from 0°C to 70°C, maintaining the ±1.0% maximum 4-quadrant error at 25°C. Typical applications include algebraic computation, power measurements, instrumentation, and other precision analog processing tasks where a small, chip-scale multiplier is advantageous. As part of the AD532 family, the KH variant preserves the core AD532 multiplier/divider design, providing straightforward integration into analog signal paths without calibration in many standard use cases.
