Anchor Scientific GSI20NO Eco-Float Direct Acting Floating Switch is a mercury-free, direct-acting level switch built for reliable liquid level control in tanks, sumps, and other liquid-handling environments. The G-style, SPST-NO device uses a suspended internal weight to actuate a snap-action switch, and it ships with a 20 ft cable, a polypropylene float housing, and an external weight assembly designed in lead within a 300-series stainless-steel frame. It carries electrical ratings of 7 A at 115 VAC and 3.5 A at 230 VAC and is rated to operate up to 140°F (60°C). The Eco-Float design replaces diaphragm and mercury switches, offering a mercury-free alternative with a variety of circuit configurations and long remote-sensing capability. This model is well-suited for level sensing in tanks, sumps, and basins where simple, durable level control is required to automate pumps, alarms, or controllers based on liquid level.
