Description:

The Anderson-Negele NCS-L-11-200PNP-KF-M12 is a capacitive point level sensor designed for hygienic, double-walled or insulated vessels, delivering reliable full/empty level detection for liquids with a dielectric constant (εr) of at least 20. Constructed with stainless-steel wetted parts and a sensor tip that blends PEEK with stainless steel, it uses the CLEANadapt installation system for flow-optimized, easily sterilizable integration in clean-in-place environments. The unit communicates via an M12 electrical connector with a preassembled cable, and the PNP variant provides a dedicated output option suitable for common automation wiring. Its measuring principle is capacitive and independent of medium conductivity, with a very fast response time under 1 second and heated electronics to prevent condensation. The sensor supports CIP/SIP cleaning up to 143 °C for up to 120 minutes and offers a reversible full/empty output to match the desired alarm or control logic. It is designed for water-based media and expands its usefulness to difficult media with dielectric constants as low as 2, enabling reliable detection in pasty or foamy products while remaining insensitive to foam and product adherence. Typical applications include hygienic processing in dairy, beverage, and food industries, where double-walled or insulated tanks require reliable level indication without intrusively altering flow paths.
