Anritsu MU100021A OTDR Module for MT1000A Network Master Pro

The MU100021A OTDR Module for the MT1000A Network Master Pro adds dedicated OTDR testing for both single‑mode and multi‑mode fiber to the MT1000A platform. In SMF mode (1310/1550 nm, ±25 nm) it delivers 42/41 dB dynamic range, supports pulse widths of 3, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 4000, 10000, and 20000 ns, and uses ITU‑T G.652 compliant SMF (10 µm/125 µm) with a Fresnel dead zone ≤80 cm (typ.) and backscatter dead zones of ≤3.8 m/4.3 m. In MMF mode (850/1300 nm, ±30 nm) the module provides 29/28 dB dynamic range, supports 850 nm pulse widths of 3, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 ns and 1310/1550 nm pulse widths up to 4000 ns, with backscatter dead zones of about ≤4.0 m/5.0 m. The MU100021A‑021 option combines 1310/1550 nm SMF and 850/1300 nm MMF capabilities, enabling dual‑mode OTDR traces within MT1000A workflows for fiber link characterization, loss budgeting, and splice/connector verification.
