APCON ACI-2059-E04-3 IntellaPatch Physical Layer Switch

APCON ACI-2059-E04-3 IntellaPatch is a four-port, 10 Gbps physical-layer switch blade for the IntellaPatch family, designed to cross-connect four optical interfaces via hot-swappable XFP LC transceivers and operate at the Ethernet physical layer. It is available in two fiber configurations: ACI-2059-E04-3M (4 x 850 nm multimode LC) for 10GBase-SR, and ACI-2059-E04-3S (4 x 1310 nm single-mode LC) for 10GBase-LR, both offering four XFP LC ports per blade. The blade measures 16.5 in wide by 3.9 in deep by 1 in high and draws about 28 W (thermal ~95.6 BTU/hr). Features include hot-swappable blades, a non-blocking, full line-rate switching matrix at Layer 1, and an optical-to-electrical-to-optical (OEO) design that does not read or modify data. Certifications include UL, CE, and FCC Class A. This IntellaPatch blade is intended for lab interoperability testing and enterprise testbeds that require deterministic, point-to-point, multicast, and loop connections between copper and optical cables.
