The Apollo Valves CVB-112 Bronze In-Line Ball-Cone Check Valve is a 1-1/2 inch, bronze inline check valve with FNPT ends, engineered to prevent backflow in piping systems. Built with a bronze body (UNS C84400), brass stem, and a ball-cone trim of reinforced PTFE (RPTFE), it delivers durable, corrosion-resistant service for general water and heating applications. It is rated up to 400 psi at 100°F (and up to 125 psi steam at 350°F) and offers a nominal flow coefficient around Cv 65 gpm, making it suitable for moderate-flow installations. The ball-cone seating arrangement provides reliable reverse-flow protection to safeguard pumps and downstream equipment from back-siphonage and backpressure. End connections are bronze FNPT x FNPT, simplifying installation in threaded piping systems. A lead-free variant exists for codes requiring reduced lead content (CVB112LF / 61LF-107-01).
