Appleton EDS3036 Explosion Proof Disconnect Switch is a heavy‑duty, non‑fusible safety switch rated for 30 A at 600 VAC (with variants listed for 600 VAC / 250 VDC) and designed for hazardous locations. This 3‑pole, 3‑wire device from the EDS Series provides explosion‑proof and dust‑ignitionproof protection and uses a hinged, removable cover, a removable mounting plate, and top and bottom conduit openings for flexible installation. The enclosure is copper‑free aluminum with an epoxy enamel finish and features a self‑locating, spring‑mounted internal handle actuator, plus a stainless steel shaft and bushing inside the handle. Standard insulated neutral lug is included, and the unit is rated NEMA 7BCD/9EFG and suitable for Class I Division 2 environments.
