Appleton EFS275F1 Tumbler Switch

Appleton EFS275F1 Tumbler Switch is a two-gang, front-operated, 1-pole non-sealed tumbler switch from Appleton's EFS Series, designed for explosionproof and dust-ignitionproof service in ignitable atmospheres where arcing must be minimized during connect and disconnect of lighting loads. Rated 120 to 277 VAC at 20 A with a 3/4 in hub, it provides reliable control of lighting circuits in harsh environments and supports front-lever operation. The enclosure is malleable iron with zinc electroplate and chromate epoxy powder coating, configured for Class I Division 1 and 2 (Groups C, D) and Class II Division 1 and 2 (Groups E, F, G) environments, with NEMA 7CD/9EFG compatibility and UL 894/1203 approvals. Typical applications include chemical plants, petrochemical facilities, refineries, and other process industries where ignitable vapors, gases, or dusts are present.
