Appleton ESUF75 UNILETS ESU sealing fitting, 3/4 in, is a dust-ignitionproof, explosionproof raintight conduit sealing device for use with threaded rigid metal conduit and IMC to prevent the passage of gases, vapors, or flames between sections of a conduit system. It is constructed from malleable iron and finished with a triple-coat process (zinc electroplate, chromate, and epoxy powder coat), and it uses tapered FNPT threads for tight, ground-continuous joints with a smooth integral bushing to protect insulation. Designed for vertical or horizontal installation, this ESU Series sealing fitting provides a 25% fill and is specified for use in Class I, Division 1 and 2 locations near enclosures and where conduits enter or leave classified areas.
