Appleton Electric EXB060404 is a cast-iron explosion-proof outlet box designed for hazardous locations, UL Listed and CSA Certified for Class I Div 1 and 2, Group D (with Class II Div 1 and 2 Groups E, F, G and Class III) and rated to NEC/CEC hazardous-location standards such as NEMA 7D/9EFG. The enclosure measures 6-13/16 in. long, 8-13/16 in. wide, and 5-9/16 in. deep, with an inner cavity of 6 in. long by 4 in. wide by 4 in. deep and a 2 in. conduit hub; both the body and cover are hot-dip galvanized cast iron. It features a screw-on cover, mounting lugs, and is intended to house splices and terminations in demanding hazardous-location installations.
