Appleton Electric EXGJH-14 Flexible Coupling
Appleton Electric EXGJH-14 Flexible Coupling
Description:
Appleton EXGJH-14 UNILETS flexible conduit coupling is a 1/2 in trade-size explosion-proof, dust-ignition-proof, and watertight connector designed to join IMC or threaded rigid conduit in hazardous locations, with 4 inches of flexible length to absorb movement and misalignment. It features 1/2 in MNPT x 1/2 in MNPT ends and an overall length of 8-1/4 inches, making it suitable for installations that require a secure, flexible link between sections of conduit. The coupling uses a bronze outer braid over a brass core with an insulating liner, delivering corrosion resistance and electrical isolation for demanding environments. Its hazardous-location rating covers Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups A–D; Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups E–G; and Class III, reflecting Appleton’s focus on safe conduit fittings for explosive atmospheres. Manufactured in Mexico, EXGJH-14 is part of Appleton’s conduit fittings lineup designed to maintain watertight integrity while accommodating bends and vibration in challenging installations.
