Appleton GRJTA75 Unilets GRJ TA-Style Explosion-Proof Conduit Outlet Box, 3/4 in trade size, is a four-hub malleable-iron conduit outlet body designed for threaded metallic conduit in hazardous locations. It is dust-ignitionproof, explosionproof, and raintight, with an internal ground screw and an O-ring seal to maintain ground continuity and weather sealing. The GRTA hub arrangement provides four 3/4 in GRTA entries, and the unit offers a 7.3 cu in internal capacity and a 2.13 in cover opening for wiring access. The enclosure and cover are triple-coated (zinc electroplate, chromate conversion, epoxy powder) for enhanced corrosion resistance, making it suitable for indoor or outdoor service per UL and CSA listings. A malleable-iron cover with gasket is included, and the box is designed for general wiring in threaded-conduit systems, with internally threaded cover and externally threaded body to ensure a tight, grounded connection. This model enables maintenance access and direction changes in conduit runs while maintaining explosion-protection and dust-ignition protection in demanding environments such as industrial facilities, chemical plants, and other classified locations.
