Appleton EXGJH-230 Explosion-Proof Flexible Conduit Coupling is a 3/4 in trade-size flexible coupling designed to join IMC or threaded rigid metal conduit in Hazardous Locations, featuring a 36.5 in flexible length and two end fittings that are male nipples. Built with a natural brass finish and bronze braid over a brass core, it includes an interior insulating liner to protect conductors from abrasion during vibration while maintaining ground continuity through accurately tapped, tapered NPT threads. This assembly is explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof, and watertight, and carries UL 886 and CSA C22.2 approvals for use in Class I, II, and III environments; it is intended for use on rigid metal conduit and IMC and is designed to deliver electrical conductivity comparable to rigid conduit at similar lengths, reducing the need for bonding jumpers.
