Appleton EYF125 Explosion Proof Seal Off Fitting

Appleton EYF125 Unilet EY Series explosion-proof conduit sealing fitting, 1-1/4 in trade size, is built of malleable iron with a tri-coated finish for durable service in hazardous locations and is compatible with IMC or threaded rigid metallic conduit. It acts as a seal-off between conduit sections to prevent the passage of gases, vapors, or flames into or from the protected enclosure, and is required in Class I Division 1 and 2 locations where two enclosures are connected by 36 inches or less of conduit, with the seal located within 18 inches of either enclosure. The EYF125 is explosion-proof, dust-ignitionproof, and raintight, supports vertical or horizontal installation, features a smooth integral hub to protect conductor insulation, and includes a removable nipple that may be used in either the top or bottom hub.
