Appleton EYSEF125 Explosionproof Conduit Sealing Fitting

Appleton EYSEF125 is the expanded-fill 1-1/4 in Unilet EY Series explosionproof conduit sealing fitting designed to stop the passage of gases, vapors or flames between sections of a conduit system in hazardous locations. Cast in malleable iron and finished with triple-coated protection (zinc electroplate, chromate, epoxy powder coat), it is rated explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof and raintight and intended for Class I Division 1 and 2 environments. The fitting uses a female-threaded connection with a close-radius body suitable for vertical or horizontal runs, and the expanded-fill EYSEF variant supports up to 40% conduit fill, enabling more conductors in tight spaces. Typically installed at the boundary where conduit leaves a classified location or enters an enclosure, or where two enclosures are connected by short runs of conduit, EYSEF125 provides a sealed, ground-continuous joint for IMC or threaded rigid conduit.
