Appleton NSB UNF300R Conduit Fittings

Appleton UNF300R Straight Union, 3 in trade size, Conduit-to-Conduit, Female-to-Female, is an explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof conduit fitting designed to join rigid/IMC conduit runs or connect conduit to enclosures in hazardous locations. Crafted from malleable iron and finished with a triple-coated treatment (zinc electroplate, chromate, and epoxy powder coat), this union resists corrosion in aggressive environments. The unit measures 3.38 inches in length and 5.38 inches in outside diameter, with 3-inch hubs on both ends to accommodate 3-inch trade-size conduit. It carries UL 886 (1203) listing with UL File E10444 for hazardous locations, covering Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups A–D and Class II, Division 1 and 2, Groups E–G. UNF unions are specifically used to join conduit to conduit and to connect conduit to enclosures, enabling modifications by removing an enclosure without turning or removing the conduit. In service, the UNF300R supports reliable ground continuity and tight, compliant joints in demanding industrial, chemical, and electrical installations.
