Appleton XJ75-8 XJ Series Expansion Coupling delivers 8 inches of movement for rigid metal conduit across structural expansion joints in long building runs, absorbing thermal and deflection-related shifts without stressing the conduit path. This 3/4-inch trade-size expansion coupling spans 10-3/8 inches (approximately 10.38 in) and is cast in malleable iron with a hot-dip galvanized finish for durability in indoor or outdoor installations. UL-listed for use with rigid metal conduit (and heavy-wall conduit) and IMC, the coupling features weather-tight joints secured by a metallic packing ring, and supports enhanced bonding along the run with bonding jumpers such as BJ85075.
