Applied Motion HT17-075D-WAA is a NEMA 17 two-phase hybrid stepper motor in the HT17 family, paired with a 17PL016 planetary gearhead. The motor uses four-lead, parallel-wound windings with a nominal coil current of 1.7 A per phase and a 1.8° step angle, delivering about 40 oz-in of holding torque in the un-geared configuration. The included 17PL016 gearhead provides a geared output on a 0.5" shaft diameter for the drive system, enabling finer positioning and higher load torque at the output while preserving a compact footprint. This configuration is commonly used in precision motion control tasks such as CNC positioning, robotics, automation, and feeding/detection systems where reliable micro-stepping and repeatable positioning are required. The unit is compatible with standard two-phase stepper drivers and is specified for drives that support 1.7 A per coil.
