Applied Robotics MXC20M-M5 Quick Connect Tool Change System

The Applied Robotics MXC20M-M5 Quick Connect Tool Change System is a modular tool-changing solution designed for robotic workcells with a 20 kg payload capacity, built as two subassemblies (robot-side changer and tool-side changer) and four open module locations that can accept up to four interface modules. It features a 25-contact electrical interface and supports a broad utility set through master adapter and tool adapter interfaces, enabling reliable transmission of pneumatics, vacuum, communications, control logic, and video signals during tool changes. Intended applications include automated test benches, robotic tool changing, power clamps and workholding fixtures, rotary turntables, and docking systems, offering rapid, repeatable tool swaps without reprogramming and with integrated utilities alignment.
