Arcos ER316L stainless steel welding wire is a low-carbon filler metal (AWS A5.9, ER316L) designed for joining 316/316L stainless steels, supplied on a 1.5 lb spool with a.024" diameter. The weld deposit typically contains about 18–20% chromium, 11–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum, with carbon limited to around 0.02–0.03% to resist carbide precipitation and intergranular corrosion. This filler metal offers enhanced corrosion resistance in chloride environments and is suitable for both general stainless-welded fabrication and components exposed to harsh chemical or marine conditions.
