Argos S3011 Microcinerator

Argos Nova S3011 Microcinerator is a compact, infrared-based sterilizer designed to quickly sterilize metal inoculating loops and needles without an open flame. It runs on 120 V, 60 Hz and consumes about 200 W (1.6 A), housed in anodized aluminum for durability. Heat is delivered via an infrared element inside a ceramic tube and protected by a perforated stainless-steel cowl for safe operation. The unit is adjustable to five positions in 8-degree increments (-8° to +32°) to tailor the angle and exposure, and reaches an optimum sterilization temperature of 815°C (1500°F) so that a loop or needle is sterilized in roughly 5–7 seconds. Part No S3011 ships packed at 300 x 300 x 200 mm with about 2.3 kg, while the unpacked appliance measures around 240 x 200 x 180 mm and weighs about 1.2 kg.
