Arista Networks CFPX-200G-DWDM Optical Transceiver

CFPX-200G-DWDM is Arista’s 200G coherent tunable transceiver in the CFPX form factor, designed for use on Arista’s DCS-7500R DWDM line cards. It enables 100G/200G coherent operation through a CFP2-based Analog Coherent Optics (ACO-CFP2) interface, supporting DP-QPSK, 8QAM, and 16QAM modulation with gridless tuning and Nyquist shaping for flexible ITU-grid operation. On the 7500R DWDM platform, eight CFPX-200G-DWDM ports can deliver up to 1.6 Tb/s total bandwidth, aligning with the line card’s eight-port, 200G-capable architecture. This module is part of the Arista R3 Series (Fixed and Modular) and is compatible with the family’s 400G support trajectory for 400ZR and 400ZR+ optics. Note that Arista issued an end-of-sale notice for DWDM 200G CFPX modules, indicating limited or concluding availability and directing customers to replacement options within Arista’s DWDM portfolio.
