Arista DCS-7508N-CH is the barebones chassis in the Arista 7500N modular data-center switch family. This empty frame provides 2 supervisor slots, 8 line-card slots, and 6 fabric-module slots to support a scalable, high-density spine-leaf fabric when populated with compatible components. It accepts AC or DC power supplies (sold separately) for flexible power provisioning, and its external dimensions are 45.3 cm (17.8 in) wide and 79.5 cm (31.3 in) deep, designed for standard 19-inch racks. The DCS-7508N-CH serves as the foundational skeleton for an Arista modular system, enabling tailored mixes of supervisors, line cards, and fabric modules to meet performance, throughput, and resilience requirements in large data centers.
