Armstrong CD-43 Steam Trap

Armstrong CD-43 Steam Trap is a 1-inch NPT, controlled‑disc steam trap from Armstrong’s CD‑40/CD‑60 series, engineered to automatically vent condensate from high‑pressure steam lines while minimizing live steam loss. It uses a replaceable capsule to renew performance without replacing the entire unit and is available with screwed (S) and socket‑weld (SW) connections as well as optional flange PN40 configurations, with an optional integral strainer to help protect downstream equipment. Rated for service up to 41 bar (600 psi), the CD‑43 is part of a family that accommodates capacities up to 1300 kg/h depending on pressure and line size. All models comply with PED 2014/68/UE where applicable. The disc‑type design provides reliable condensate discharge in demanding applications, and its modular connection options facilitate installation in existing pipelines, making the CD‑43 suitable for process networks and steam mains where dependable condensate control and protection against live‑steam leakage are essential.
