Armstrong International 1-LD Valve

Armstrong 1-LD Liquid Drainer is a free-floating lever drain trap from Armstrong's LD Series, used to remove condensate from steam piping while resisting leakage. The model 1LD features 3/4" x 1/4" NPT connections and a 5/64" orifice, with a cast-iron body rated to 300 psi for rugged industrial service. Its hemispherical valve seat and lever mechanism, guided by a post, provide positive, leak-tight closure under varying flow and pressure conditions. As part of Armstrong's Free Floating Lever Drain Trap family, the 1-LD offers dependable condensate removal with minimal maintenance, even at low condensate loads. Typical applications include condensate drainage in steam mains, near traps, and process-heating systems where maintaining steam quality is important, such as boiler rooms, heat exchangers, and steam distribution networks.
